INSULECTRO TO DISTRIBUTE SCREENING PRODUCTS FOR SHUR-LOC FABRIC SYSTEMS

Insulectro, the largest distributor of materials for use in manufacture of printed circuit board and printed electronics, has announced it will distribute the Shur-loc screening printing product line effective immediately. It marks the third supplier added to Insulectro’s product portfolio in as many months.

“Today we are announcing Insulectro will begin distributing the Shur-loc screening printing product line in North America,” Insulectro Director of Product Management Michelle Walsh commented, “The addition of Shur-loc is a potent addition to our best-in-class product portfolio. It is one more example of Insulectro’s laser focus on supplying our customers with the best product offerings available.”

The Shur-loc patented frame and one-piece mesh stretching system makes what is a labor-intensive part of screen printing a quick and easy way to build screen frames in just minutes and ready for production immediately! Their laser cut design ensures the precise mesh angle and optimal tension throughout the life of the mesh panel. Various size frames and mesh count sizes are available from hand tables to larger format automatic printers.

INSULECTRO TO HOST FIRST OEM FORUM ON MATERIAL SELECTION AND DESIGN EDUCATION

Insulectro, the largest distributor of materials for use in the printed circuit board and printed electronics industries, will host its first OEM FORUM on Thursday, August 20, at 11:05 am Pacific. The FORUM will be conducted on the ZOOM teleconferencing platform.

“With the demands of today’s highly advanced circuit board designs, it is more important than ever to not only pick the best materials but to optimize their use” commented Insulectro Technical Director for Design Education Michael Creeden. “Join this 45 minute virtual forum, plus Q&A, as we explore the need for technically correct material selections. Materials play a functional part of our high-speed and RF circuit performance. Learn how correct material selections also improve the manufacturability and reliability of our products.”

Creeden CID+  MIT will be a major presenter on the design side while Insulectro Vice President of Technology Chris Hunrath CID+ will present the science around material selection. Technical Account Manager Ron Murdock will host the session.

This Forum should be of particular interest to OEMs, engineers, and designers looking for superior results from PCB materials. Registration is required to join the sessions and attendees will need to access the Zoom application or website to participate.

INSULECTRO TO DISTRIBUTE BRUSHES FROM INDUSTRIAL BRUSH CORPORATION

Insulectro, has announced it will distribute IBC printed circuit board and pumice scrubber brushes effective immediately.

“Today we are announcing Insulectro will begin distributing Industrial Brush Corporation brush products in North America,” Insulectro Director of Product Management Michelle Walsh commented, “The addition of IBC is a welcome addition to our best-in-class product portfolio.”

“We are excited to broaden our product offerings to our PCB fabricators,” said Kevin Barrett, Insulectro Technical Account Manager and Product Manager for the IBC line, “IBC is a pioneer in brush manufacture serving a wide variety of industries with roots dating back to 1896. At IBC, brushes are not simply a commodity manufactured by a machine. They are an art form that has been perfected over time by highly-skilled employees, some of whom have been with the company for twenty to thirty years or more.”

IBC circuit board brushes feature optimal aluminum construction for maximum durability without excess weight. The spiral-wound design permanently locks brush filaments into a channel to prevent filament loss. Brushes are precision trimmed to maintain uniform surface finishes. To meet the increasing surface preparation requirements of the PCB industry, IBC also offers a complete range of impregnated nylon filament in grit sizes from 180 to 500.

Their pumice scrubber brushes are manufactured with precision-trimmed, fine-diameter nylon filament to ensure even and consistent brushing action. For fine line circuitry, optimum surface preparation can be achieved even on thin inner layers.

INSULECTRO APPOINTS INDUSTRY VETERAN JOHN ODOM TO ADVISORY BOARD

Insulectro, the largest distributor of materials for use in the printed circuit board and printed electronics industries, has announced the appointment of industry veteran John Odom to its advisory board.

Odom retired from DuPont in 2019 where he had held global leadership roles in printed circuit materials, semiconductor materials, and photovoltaic materials businesses. He had also served on the boards of DA NanoMaterials and HD MicroSystems, leading suppliers of proprietary materials to the semiconductor industry.  While at DuPont, Odom also led numerous M&A initiatives and had extensive electronic materials business experience in Asia.  During his career Odom has been active in IPC and SEMI, where he chaired the Chemicals and Gases Manufacturers Group and the Strategic Materials Conference.

Odom is a graduate of Clemson University in Chemical Engineering and he received Executive Education at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

INSULECTRO AND DUPONT SET TO ENGAGE IPC APEX EXPO ATTENDEES WITH POWERFUL POWER CHATS™

INSULECTRO FOCUSES ON NEW DESIGN & EDUCATION SERVICES DURING DESIGNCON EXHIBITION
